Design, Structure, and Framework in Perfect Harmony
In the beginning, our cooperation was rather characterized by tasks related to research, strategy and design than web development itself, as their news website was created on a subscription-based website builder, called Squarespace. We audited their old website and their way of communication and had many discussions about how to refresh their content so as to better represent their community, their values and approach.
In the past two years, the Thalassa Ház's online communication has undergone significant changes, and we wanted to provide them with a scalable, stable system for language management.
Meanwhile, Thalassa House also underwent a brand renewal, so we designed a new visual appearance to match, and built their site using the Modulo framework—now based on Drupal.
We can say that it was a successful and mutually inspiring cooperation, as by listening carefully to their ideas and understanding their way of thinking, we often think that we gain as much as from this project than the Thalassa House.
